"Humanware": The Future of Business, a Blend of People and Artificial Intelligence in Udine

What role will artificial intelligence and people play in the future of business? This question will be addressed in HUMANWARE – Scenarios of an imminent future. People and software as the key to success , an event promoted by Nayad, a new entrepreneurial venture that combines technology and consulting expertise in an innovative model. Nayad is the result of the evolution of the historic Udine-based software house Cogito and is now part of the Gruppo Prometa services holding company, operating in the Triveneto region.
The event – Wednesday 25 September, at 5:30 pm, in the Torre di Santa Maria of Confindustria Udine – will be moderated by Sebastiano Barisoni, deputy director of Radio 24 – Il Sole 24 Ore , and will bring together voices from the business and academic worlds.
The proceedings will be opened by Damiano Ghini , founder of Nayad and president of Gruppo Prometa , followed by institutional greetings from Gea Arcella , Councillor for Heritage, Taxes, Smart City and Digital Innovation of the Municipality of Udine , and Michele Nencioni , director of Confindustria Udine .
The panel will offer a multi-voiced interpretation of the challenges facing businesses: the relationship between empathy and algorithms , consulting as a competitive lever , the importance of maintaining a medium-term vision in markets dominated by speed, the end of individualism as a paradigm – “no one saves themselves alone” – and the ability to adapt as a distinctive advantage.
Alongside Ghini, speakers will include Francesca Visintin , Full Professor of Business Organization at the University of Udine , lecturer in Human Resources Organization and Managing Teams for Innovation , and Alessandro Rinaldi , founder of DOF Consulting , EMBA lecturer at the University of Udine and expert in organizational development and innovative training and coaching methodologies .
The debate will open to original interpretations in which the company is rethought as an ecosystem of people, with digital solutions at the service of the organization to translate the complexity of transformation into organized change.
" Humanware was born from the idea that the company is not just a set of processes, but a living community where technology liberates time, creativity, and intelligence, " emphasizes Damiano Ghini . " We don't envision a future dominated by machines, nor a nostalgic return to the past: we envision a new balance, where software and people collaborate to generate sustainable value, cohesion, and competitiveness ."
Alessandro Rinaldi explores this concept in depth: "SMEs are facing a crucial transition: integrating emotional intelligence, organizational development, and technological innovation. In the past, technology was often relegated to a cognitive or strategic role; today, however, it can interact with emotional intelligence and foster more advanced community and organizational models. The challenge is not to fear change, but to know how to build alliances between human and artificial intelligence."
Micael Benedetti , General Manager of Nayad , adds: “ My extensive experience supporting SMEs in digital transformation has taught me a key principle: technology, when combined with a consultative approach, is a true catalyst for growth . This is the essence of Nayad: we don't propose digital as a simple product, but as a sustainable evolutionary path. We combine technical expertise with strategic consulting to create real value, empowering people and their skills. Our vision is clear: technology must enhance human excellence, not replace it .”
Nayad's perspective fits into the trajectory of the Prometa Group , which will reach a total turnover of 22 million euros in 2025, with a growth forecast of 15% for 2026. Within this framework, Nayad estimates a 20% increase in the same year, confirming the solidity of its model, encapsulated in the payoff: "humanly digital solutions".
